Bankruptcy Attorney Diane Barron-Carter

Diane was born and raised in Nederland, Texas. In high school, Mrs. Barron Carter graduated third in her class from Nederland High School where she participated in a variety of sports and extracurricular activities. Barron-Carter attended Baylor University School of Law graduating in the top 30% of her class.

In addition to her law degree, Mrs. Barron-Carter also obtained a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration and competed in moot court competitions. While at Baylor, she was a member of the dean’s list numerous times, participated in Kappa Alpha Theta, volunteered with Baylor Buddies and Court Appointed Special Advocate, an advocacy group for abused and neglected children. Mrs. Barron-Carter also studied Spanish in Madrid, Spain. During her second and third year of law school, she worked at the McLennan County District Attorney’s office prosecuting protective orders and advocating for the protection of victims of violent crimes.

Mrs. Barron-Carter has memberships to State Bar of Texas, Dallas County Young Lawyers Association, and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mrs. Barron-Carter is admitted to practice in Texas state courts and the U.S. District Court for Eastern and Northern District of Texas.

Mrs. Barron-Carter is married with two children and lives in Plano, Texas with her husband. She enjoys reading and raising her two daughters.

Mrs. Barron-Carter is a Board Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is also a Chapter 7 Trustee.
