Bankruptcy Attorney & Founder Bob Barron (1950-2018)

Bob Barron was born and raised in La Marque, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1972 from Baylor University. He graduated Baylor Law School in 1974. Mr. Barron was admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts, Eastern United States District Court, United States Tax Court, United States Fifth Circuit Court, and in the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Barron also received is Certified Public Accountant license in 1976. Mr. Barron was a Board Certified Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Mr. Barron started his own law firm in 1983 in Port Arthur, Texas. He has been practicing Bankruptcy Law for over 40 years. In 1990, he opened a second office in Lufkin, Texas, and then expanded his firm to the North Dallas/Plano area in 1993. Mr. Barron has also participated in a trial which reached the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Barron passed on May 5th, 2018 after a heart transplant. He leaves behind a loving wife, 3 children and 11 grandchildren who will miss a great man.

Mr. Barron was the founder of Barron & Barron, LLP. Throughout his 40 year career in Bankruptcy Law, he earned the utmost respect from the bankruptcy community. He passed on his knowledge and will to fight for debtors to his two children who run the firm today. We leave his page up to honor a great father and business partner.
